At the 36th Great Wall Cardiology Conference and Asian Heart Conference, the “Advanced Electrophysiology and New Technology (PFA) Training and Certification Program” initiated by the American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF) and supported by Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology was officially launched yesterday.

Focusing on the clinical needs in the field of atrial fibrillation diagnosis and treatment, the project will recruit 20 Chinese hospitals to participate in it in depth. Through the development of online courses and systematic training, Chinese electrophysiologists will enhance the standardized diagnosis and treatment capabilities of complex atrial fibrillation diseases, and deepen their understanding and application of pulsed electric field ablation (PFA), a new type of ablation technology, in order to promote the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation in China towards a more standard and standardized direction, so that thousands of patients with atrial fibrillation can enjoy better medical services.
